Local Imoni Culinary Experience

* You will be able to learn how to select seasonal ingredients and learn about the ingredients needed for imoni right in front of you, with the deep wisdom of your local specialist.
*It is possible to change the plan to one without shopping according to participant wishes.

After returning from shopping, your culinary experience begins! You will learn how to cut and cook local ingredients like taro, konjac, burdock root and more, which are essential for making imoni. Cook together with the instructor, paying attention to the types of meat and seasoning they use.

While making imoni and takikomi gohan, you will also learn about the charms of local ingredients, imoni, and Yamagata City—which the instructor is an expert in!
